Abrascotch mounted abrasives are used in handpieces. Thier nylon non-woven abrasive heads clean and leave a matte finish on metal or plastic surfaces. In dental labs they are excellent for prostheses and thermoforming slides, smoothing, pre-polishing and for thermoforming films. Available in 3 different head sizes and in 4 different abrasive grits.
Extra Fine (white) has no abrasive.
Fine (gray) has aluminum oxide abrasive for pre-polishing and finest deburring of thermoforming foils.
Medium (red) has aluminum oxide abrasive for smoothing all types of plastics.
Coarse (brown) has aluminum oxide abrasive for deburring of thermoforming foils and for smoothing plastics.
