Sanding Bands are 1/2″ x 1/2″ and 1/4″ x 1/2″ (12.7 mm x 12.7 mm, and 6.35mm x 12.7 mm) and in 7 grits – listed below.
Includes 4 — 1/8″ shank drum mandrels, 2 for each size band.
1/2″ x 1/2″: 4 each 60 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit, 180 grit, 240 grit, 320 grit, 600 grit.
1/4″ x 1/2″: 6 each 60 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit, 180 grit, 240 grit, 320 grit, 600 grit.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasives are made of high-grade mineral and a bonding system that reduces shelling of the mineral. These economical abrasives are excellent for fast clean-up and pre-polishing work.

Use the Sanding Bands with 3/32″ (2.35mm) and 1/8″ shank rubber drum mandrels. To install, slip band onto rubber drum with screw loose. When band is in position, tighten the screw, which expands the rubber drum, for a secure hold.
