Your flex shaft machine will likely require replacement shafts and sheaths during its lifetime. Motor specific kits come packed with a shaft, motor brushes, grease.

You can expect to replace inner shafts and outer sheaths over the course of your machine's life. There are various types for different machines. Watch our videos for help with selection, replacement and lubrication.

Motor brushes come in pairs and should be replaced for optimal machine performance when worn to 1/4 inch in length. Be sure to watch our video for help with replacing motor brushes.

Here you'll find a base and yoke for converting hang-up motors into bench models. Also motor connectors, commonly used screws, screwdriver and more.

Most Foredom motors and handpieces do NOT require lubrication. There are exceptions and certain models need to be oiled or greased. Flexible shafts also require routine lubrication.

Controls that do not allow for the full range of motor speed probably need a new trigger switch. They are easy to install. Also replacement fuse and circuit boards for dial speed controls here.

Collets are removable sleeves that hold the shaft or shank of a bur, drill bit or mandrel securely in a handpiece.

These come included with new handpieces but are easy to misplace. Also dual end screwdriver used on many Foredom small parts.

Included here are replacement handpiece ball bearings, spring clip, catch ball, chuck nuts, duplex springs, tray and grip.
